Dr. Ndola Prata, Director, Medical and Programs at VSI and Assistant Adjunct Professor at UC Berkeley, presented Bringing their method of choice to rural women: Community based distribution of injectable contraceptives in Tigray, Ethiopia on the Family Planning and Maternal Health Panel.
Dr. Prata also organized a panel titled Community Interventions for Postpartum Hemorrhage and presented Protecting women who deliver at home from postpartum hemorrhage with misoprostol: Distribution of misoprostol through antenatal care in Tanzania.
Martine Holston, VSI's Director of Research and Implementation, presented Bringing abortion services closer to the women:
comprehensive abortion care pilot program in Tigray, Ethiopia on the Access to Abortion Services Panel.
