Melodie Holden, VSI's President, has been invited to speak at a conference on "Expanding Access to Essential Maternal Health Commodities" at the Woodrow Wilson Center's Global Health Initiative in Washington, D.C. Additional speakers include Elizabeth Leahy Madsen, Director of Research at Population Action International, and Dotian Wanogo Ali, Chief Technical Advisor of the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition, UNFPA.
Sponsored by the Maternal Health Task Force and the United Nations Population Fund, this conference is part of a ten-event dialogue series that seeks to galvanize the maternal health community by focusing on important key challenges and opportunities facing the community. To date the series has drawn over 800 audience members from a wide range of backgrounds including policymakers, researchers, program managers, private sector and the maternal health community.
